1979 Volkswagen Super Beetle Convertible. GOOD CONDITION. 1800cc engine (fuel injection was converted to a carburetor). There have been a lot of new parts installed on the vehicle. Some of the things done are, complete tune up, wires, plugs, coil, belts, carb rebuilt, clutch adjustment, new brakes, master cylinder, wheel cylinders, upgraded head lights and oil. The car runs great and shifts really well. Although, the car is in decent shape it will need a little TLC to be complete. The paint is ok, to say the least. It will need the floor pan replaced behind the driver’s seat. The floor pan on the front driver’s side is new but only riveted in place. The weather stripping will need to be replaced but the top functions as it should and seals tight along the windshield. There is no whistling sound while driving at freeway speeds. However, there are two small tears on the sides of the top from being folded down but it doesn't leak. The interior is in daily driver condition for the age of the vehicle, meaning the front driver’s seat will need repair but is usable. The passenger side is in good shape and there are no issues in the rear seat area. The car is a great starting point for a quick project to complete. The hard part is done and just needs minor finishing in order to have a great summer vehicle for a very affordable price, I've seen these cars go for 3000.00 in non-road worthy condition.
