I've been thinking about putting my 99 vr4 up for sale recently. I just want to see if there is any interest out there. For those that don't know, this car is extremely rare. 1999 is the last year 3000gt's were sold and they only sold 287 vr4's that year. There are probably only around 250 to 260 of this year vr4 left. Mitsubishi also updated the look for the 99 model and it's one of the best in my opinion. It still looks great today. The car has 1156XX miles on it. Mileage will go up some because I drive it to work everyday. I just changed the timing belt, water pump, timing belt tensioner, pulleys, accessory belt, power steering belt, spark plugs, and the oil about 500 miles ago. It's recommended to do it at 120k but I wanted to get it knocked out. If I get around my asking price, I'll throw in a dual fmic kit and 560cc Evo injectors. I was saving them for when I decided to do a turbo upgrade. This car is pretty fast. They come stock with 320hp to the crank. I haven't ever upped the boost and I've only launched the car once just to see what it was like. I've never raced anyone in it either. It's not in perfect condition but it is a 16 year old car. The interior is like 9/10. No dash/vent cracks and the only tear is in the driver seat side bolster from people getting in and out. The exterior is about 7/10. The front bumper needs repainted and the back bumper was messed up by the previous owner when she backed into a trash can. There is about a 3 inch cut on the left side of it because of that. There is also a few scratches and dings around the car. The car could use a paint job but it still shines good in most spots. The transmission shifts smooth with no grinds. I did notice the other day that the clutch is rather loud when it's not engaged. After doing some research I came to the conclusion that it most likely needs a new throwout bearing but they're only about $150 new. The car needs an alignment and I'm not sure if it has adjustable control arms or not. I may get it aligned soon though. It idles at like 1.5k with the A/C on. I think there is a vac line leak somewhere. I still have a lien on the car so NO TRADES. My bank said that whoever wants to buy it will have to wire the money to my account when they pick it up and then they'll transfer me to the title department and the buyer can give them their address to send the title to. Also, to get a temporary tag for transport from FL, we just need to go to the DMV with the bill of sale, proof of insurance, and you have to pay the taxes for whatever state your from to get a temporary tag for transport. We can go to a local bank to get the bill of sale notarized for extra measure. Serious buyers only please. I don't want any tire kickers and people just wanting to take a test drive. You're not getting to drive it unless you have the money to buy it, no joy rides. The only reason for selling is because I need something better on gas and with 4 doors. I'm willing to ship but buyer must set up everything and it's being sold as-is. I don't want someone claiming there is damage that wasn't there before. Again this is a chance to own an awesome ultra rare twin turbo awd aws 1of 287 produced 3000gt vr4. I absolutely love this car and is one of my dream cars but the wife is pregnant again so it unfortunately has to go to a new home. I'm hoping it's someone that will take care of it and restore it to new. Value on these cars are only going to go up. If there are any questions just ask me. Please no scammers.
