1958 Mercedes Benz 220S Cabriolet 1 of 2186 produced 1956-1960 Hard to find anywhere! Very low production! A great opportunity to own a 220S Cabriolet - without paying Auction Prices Hagerty now values this car in #1 condition at $196,000! Stored for many, many years by same owners over 30 years This was partially restored through the years by the owner The car is straight, but paint is need of restoration Floor has had repair work, as where bumpers attach to frame Bumpers look to have been replated Top is new canvas, works well, folds well, was not finished as the snap trim stainless is missing- a new boot will need to be made Side stainless is missing as well as Rocker and wheel well trim I would appreciate any help from Benz enthusiasts locating the side trim and moldings! I would like to buy good used pieces. Interior is complete and looks all original with the exception of the carpet which was replaced Trunk is extremely solid as shown in pics Extra parts- grille, radio, fog lite pieces, some small chrome and stainless-I also have the directional and lens for the drivers fender-it was not on at the time of pics The car runs very well, sounds very good Tires are in good shape, hubcaps are average and should be replaced This is a great candidate for another go around with a restorer The trim pieces that are missing are available on ebay- I just looked today You could buy a complete set of repro pieces- or buy used which may take longer to accumulate Wonderful, rare Mercedes that craves the road again Questions or offers- 608-235-4633 Offered at less than market value to encourage bidding and new ownership
