For sale is a 2007 BMW 525xi all wheel drive sedan. This is a No Reserve Auction and will sell to the highest bidder!!Before I go on to the car let me first disclose this.. The car was purchased as a prior theft from Maine. I purchased it for my wife and it needed a new steering column and key. I had purchased these items and had a local shop install them where the car now gets full power but wouldn't start. I was told it had to go to the BMW dealership to get programmed with their equipment. So the 5 series went on a flat bed where BMW got the car programmed and running after paying them 4 hours to do this I drove the car back and other than a couple lights lit on the dash everything seemed fine. 2 days later the car now is now not recognizing the key and says unlock steering wheel to start car even though the steering wheel is unlocked. I called BMW back up and they said the car sounds like it is something in the column that needs programming but could not guarantee they would not charge me more diagnostic and to be honest don't feel like dealing with anymore. So if you know these cars or have a friend that does, this is a great deal. My wife already has her eyes on something else now so i guess i'm just going to sell the car the way it is. Everything else on the car is in good shape. Engine and transmission are good but car does not start so car is sold AS-ISAnyway on to the car: It is metallic silver in color with black leather interior. We do not smoke. Car is an automatic and does have the all wheel drive option. The BMW has the 2.5 liter engine which has plenty of power but yet somehow gets great gas mileage!! Currently has 147,560 miles on it and you would never know it by looking at it.Car options include: Sunroof, Xenon Headlights, Leather, Navigation, Push Start, Alloy wheels, Upgraded M-Tech Front & Rear Bumpers, Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), First Aid Kit with Tools, Steering Wheel Controls, Premium AM/FM CD Player, 6 disk in dash CD Player, Wood Trim, Power Seats, Dual Airbag, Side Air Bags, All Power, Power Windows, Power locks, Key less Entry w/ alarm, Projector Headlights w/ Headlight Washers, 2.5 liter V6, Automatic Transmission, All Wheel Drive, Heated Mirrors, Fog Lamps, Painted Trim and Moldings, 8 Airbags, and the owners manual.Car has a small dent on rear passenger quarter near deck lid, but nothing that takes away from the car. For you car fax people, it does show a theft recovery sometime ago. Car is paid for. Spare wheel and tools are there and all tires have about 75 percent left. Would also like to disclose this is a used car and normal wear and tear should be expected, I would give it a 8 out of 10 but do understand some peoples opinions of poor, fair, excellent etc varies so would recommend a quick look prior to bidding. Interior is in very nice shape and no stains on the carpets that I can see. The leather shows minimal wear on it and all glass is good .
