Up for sale is a Classic 1949 Chevy 2 door Deluxe Sedan. The body has been gone through a few years ago and left in primer. There is a little surface rust and some pitting in the crome. The interior has been all redone in tan and brown, with the dash and metal trim parts painted. It needs a head liner, The car comes with the original 3 speed transmission and original 6 cylinder. The valve cover gasket seal has been replaced. If someone were to go through the engine and repair what they find, (the carb is just sitting on the engine and may need rebuilt) would have a beautiful restoration, or would be the perfect time to drop in a small block and have a great Hot Rod, Rat Rod or Restomod. Add you own paint and build an awesome street rod. Or you paint it a two tone, and have a beautiful Classic to drive and love. The majority of the crome is intact, I have not assembled it to confirm. The body panels have been gone through but needs adjusting, this would be done after final painting. This car was the retirement project of an elderly friend that has to many projects so I am helping him liquidate his collection. Check out my other auctions, I will be listing a few more vehicles for him. There is a rusty spot on the drivers side underside where the side of the body meets the floor, along with some surface rust on the underside.
