Vehicle Detail

Relisted for sale with more items added including 400 small cubic inch engine and Muncie 4 speed transmission. Respectable Reserve 1967 Chevrolet Nova No post project car This car is a project that I started years ago. Basically I removed the garbage from the car to build it back up. The television show Over Hualin made it look easy. I enjoyed the work but I don't have the time or patience to finish the job. In the beginning, I purchased the car for 1000 dollars and it has a clear Florida Title. After which I cut as much of the rust out as I could. Then I bought a Heidts front end kit with sub frame connectors and a four link rear suspension system. The Heidt's kit cost 3500 dollars and has adjustable suspension and front disc brakes and front inner fender panels. The Chevrolet rear axle was replaced with a Ford 9 inch rear axle and I had the axles cut down to fit. The rear axle has posit traction at 3.5:1 ratio. A good friend of mine helped me the engine build and welding in the Competition Engineering 8 point roll cage and the fuel cell cage. The New fuel tank is a 15 gallon aluminum tank from Summit. Nothing has been used or driven. No expense has been left out of the 400 cubic inch small block engine that has bored out 30 over. The only thing used in the engine is the block. Everything else is new and installed. The engine has never been run. I regularly turn the engine with a breaker bar to ensure that it has not frozen up. I predict the engine will have approximately 450 horsepower and 525 ft pounds of torque. New never used Edlebrock performance series 750 carburetor.New Edlebrock aluminum heads New Milodon oil pan, oil pump, windage tray, scraper, arp bolts. timing gear drive, dipstick, gaskets, rocker arms, pushrods, Edlebrock manifold, bearings, Comp Cam part number 12-213-3 intake and exhaust lift of .501, aluminum powder coated valve covers, and Eagle crank and new pistons with new rings. Muncie 4 speed transmission was rebuilt with NHRA approved scatter shield. New Fly wheel and Hurst shifter I also have a box full of parts, Head lights, speedometer, hood hinges, front and rear bumpers, cross members, original steering wheel, trim pieces, and two Ford Probe seats. This Nova was garage kept. Recently when we moved the car got rained and a small amount of surface rust appeared. I took care of that with Ospho rust neutralizer. Speaking of rust, this car was an original Michigan car and the bottom third of the car has rust almost everywhere. This car needs a trunk lid, hood, fenders, core support, quarter panels, wheel wells and rockers. Not to mention, the interior needs to be finished and as you can see many other things including ignition system, brake and fuel lines and a electrical painless kit. I have several of the original items off of the car and those items will go with the buyer. I have an automatic brake pedal and standard brake pedal assembly. Trans mission cross member, original speedometer etc. People like to look at this car but there is a long way to go and financially I don't have the money and my family needs my time. I have brand new BF Goodrich tires on the car that I purchased at Sam's club. No mileage just to roll in to and out of the garage. The front windshield is cracked. The rear window and other glass is great shape. I am doing my best to describe this "Project" That is exactly what this car is but someone with the right time and energy may be able to make their Nova dreams come true. Please don't hesitate to email me and I will do my best to answer any questions. If I don't answer right away it's because of a work conflict. Also, don't let my screen name scare you. I have sold a few cars for family and friends and the name has caught on. Thank you for looking.
