Vehicle Detail
Suzuki Intruder VS800 ***No Reserve Auction*** The higher bidder steals it. 3,005 miles on the odometer, which seems accurate due to the condition of the bike (the vehicle is exempt, so I cannot guarantee 100%). Metallic Green color, some cool mods, great looking bike. I bought it last year for $2,300, have had no time to ride. Plus, I found out that making it into a bobber (as I intended at the time of purchase, as it looks really classic) looks much easier on TV, as I have near zero mechanical aptitude. My loss, your gain... Come get it!!! Need it out of the garage or wife will burn it down... Soon... Lowered handlebars, Vance & Hines exhaust (great sound), extended foot pegs, custom Corbin seat (and I will add some extra, old seats with it), custom mirrors, turn signals, side license plate holder, new rear tire and more. Bike runs perfectly, smooth shift, good breaks, awesome bike. Local buyers are welcome (and encouraged) to inspect the motorcycle locally. It is also for sale locally, so I reserve the rights to end this auction earlier - I am open for offers. I have the title in hands. Now to the “not-so-great” portion: - Bike is on a tenderizer, but will probably need a new battery; - Tank has been repainted by previous owner to remove the Suzuki emblem. Paint was professionally done, but have a couple of chips where the handlebar touched it (before I raised the controls a little bit). Pictures in the auction show them. Side covers were also painted; - Left turn signal doesn't work, but when I squeeze the break, the break light blinks. I have no clue on how to fix it, as I said I am truly bad at this. I looked at the wires but could not figure it out; - The bike had some changes done (as stated above), so expect it not to be original;- Small tear on the seat, as displayed in the picture; - It is a 1996 bike, so despite of the fact that is has only 3k miles, expect some minor wear-and-tear. Bike is sold “as-is.”Buyer is responsible for pick-up/shipping. $300 deposit via Paypal at end of auction, balance in cash at pickup. I have a couple questions. If I purchase it I would like to come pay for it, bring the title to get a plate and registration then come back to get the bike. Just let me know if that's ok. Secondly, can you explain the brake light problem a little better? Does it flash on and off like a turn signal? _______________________________________________________ Hi there, For your first question, I don't have an issue with it. The only thing is that the bike will most likely need a new battery to run. It is on a tenderizer, but I don't think it is holding charge. I will try a stronger charger tomorrow. In any case, if I jump start it from another battery, it runs just fine, but as soon as I disconnect the cable, it stops. I am wondering if the battery is not good at all... Yes, the break light blinks as a turn signal.I think it may be related to the fact that the turn signals are not the original ones, as they are not amber. You are welcome to come see the bike before the auction ends, so you can make the right decision.
