Moving, must sell! One owner 1979 Jeep Cherokee Chief wide-track with the QuardaTrac full-time 4-wheel drive system. It has 81,382 original miles! I obtained this Jeep from my neighbor last year after her husband passed away. It was non-op for 20 years. I have the original bill of sale, owners manual and window sticker as well. The 360-V8 engine has just been rebuilt along with the carb & heads. It has a THM400 3-speed transmission and BorgWarner transfer case. The transmission leaks and needs a new seal at the transfer case. The truck runs and drives nice! The 4-wheel drive works great! I've gone through everything and replaced anything that seemed worn. It has a new 3" Rough Country suspension lift / shocks & steering stabilizer, alternator, power steering pump, belts, coil, brakes, master cylinder, ABS gas tank, fuel lines & hoses, U-joints, ball joints, etc. All of the lights and lenses have been replaced. It also has an updated electric fan and brand new 33" Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac tires. The interior has been re-done along with new carpet, seats, seat belts and paneling. I have the original seats which are in very good condition and other original parts that will go along with the truck. The original seats aren't made fully adjustable from the factory so I installed new ones for comfort. This Jeep is very clean for a 36 year old vehicle! The registration is current through August 2015. I truly hate to let this Jeep go but my wife is due in 2 weeks and we are in the process of buying a larger house to accommodate our family.
