Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is my father's well taken care of 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix with 146.079 miles on this well maintained vehicle. The only problem with this car is that cylinder number 5, upon starting a few weeks ago, ejected the spark plug from the rusted thread and a necessary repair requires it to be re-tappped, and my father did not want to do the job due to the fact that his mechanic told him the engine would have to be partially taken out to get access to the spark plug and then re-tapped with a new thread, a relatively easy repair, but a time consuming one. Rather than do the work my father opted to buy a brand new Kia and let me worry about the sale of this vehicle. This car ran absolutely sterling before the spark plug ejection and was well maintained, and had just passed the rigid NY State inspection only days before. There are no check engine lights on, and the car runs, even on 5 cylinders but will need the spark plug job to be done to drive any real distance. The interior is near mint and looks hardly driven in, and all the accessories on the car work, as they should. All power windows, the radio, drivers information electronics, complete cluster, and all other electronics work perfectly. The AC worked up until the end of summer, and then it starting turning Luke cold, so it will need a recharge. There is a new battery almost new tires a complete brake job and many new suspension components put it in, in the last 10,000 miles, and all fluid changes were done way before factory recommendations. The cars' transmission shifts perfectly and mechanically, minus the spark plug repair, this car will give the new owner many more miles of great driving. The exterior has really no dents or even scratches but has some bumper rash front and rear that is depicted in in the pictures. The car also has a few surface rust spots as depicted in the pictures as well. The car has no leaks and all the fluids have been changed regularly and recently , and also has a tow hitch previously installed. If you are a mechanic, or know how to work on cars, a simple repair will get you this car for a fraction of what it originally sold for and is sold with NO RESERVE and the highest bidder will get it. The car can easily be driven up on a trailer as it still runs! If you have any questions at all please call me or text me anytime and I will gladly answer them. Happy Bidding. Al 516-473-8399.
