2005 Ford Explorer Sport Trac in mint condition with only 24,000 original miles on it. This Sport Trac is spotless in and out. The paint is original and was given a Salvage Florida Title due to minor rear end accident (see pictures). I purchased this truck at an Insurance Auto Auction, Progressive Insurance sold it to me and I am selling in the same condition I received it. It was involved in a rear impact with another vehicle and was given a Salvage Title from Progressive Insurance, this means that once the rear bumper is replaced it will become a Rebuilt Title. ENGINE: The engine is a 4.0 liter V6 SOHC in excellent condition. There are no mechanical issues what so ever, just turn the key and drive it anywhere with no problem. The A/C blows super cold and the heater works as well. The transmission shifts perfectly as well.
EXTERIOR: The paint is spotless all original, never been repainted and no paint is needed anywhere, there are no major dents nor scratches on it. The paint looks like a brand new car coming straight off the showroom. The tires are in great condition with at least 50% thread life still left on them.
INTERIOR: The interior still looks new, no rips nor tears on the seats nor the carpeting. Everything is fully functional on the inside of the Sport Trac, comes with power windows, power locks, there is no cruise control nor power mirrors because they are not available in the XLS models. Overall you are looking at a practically new truck to last for many years to come, it has been perfectly maintained, it is a shame that the rear bumper caused it to get a salvage title. The only repair needed on this truck is the rears bumper at highest bidders expense. I will not replace the bumper, I am selling truck as is where is. I have taken many pictures to assist you with any questions you may have. If you replace rear bumper, and straighten the rear tips of the chassis where bumper hooks up onto you will have a perfectly nice looking Sport Trac for at least half its value. I have personally driven this truck myself and the above are my findings.
