Vehicle Detail
Sadly the day has come for me to sell my 240sx, I don’t HAVE to but I should. I am currently unwanted where I am staying and would like the money to get out. It is a 1994 Nissan 240sx convertible with about 125k on the chassis. Chassis has minimal rust, all that I can locate I have pictures of here. Rails are 100% overall it is a very clean car, clear coat is starting to go so it could use paint or a wrap. (If you want it wrapped contact me and we will work something out if the sale price ends up high enough) It has JSK coilovers on it,ride really nice, much better than some of the other cheaper brands. It has some unknown 18’s on it with some tread but not much. There is a walbro 255 fuel pump installed. The top material has been replaced but not the metal itself. It is a vinyl and not a cloth, I like it. Interior is in decent condition, pretty positive that it is all present. I have replaced the dash with a crackless one, it has one small blemish, if I can get a camera to show it I will get you a picture. There is a rip in the drivers seat, it happens in the same place in almost every 240sx due to seat shape.Has a aftermarket headunit, a SAFC2, a AEM wideband gauge, a ebay temp gauge( may need a new sensor if I cannot find one prior to sale), and a unknown boost gauge. Carpet is in the worst condition of anything on the car. Engine is a RB20DET mounted with a Mckinney mount kit. It has a upgraded turbo, im not sure on the size exactly but it should have no problem making 375hp on this motor. Right now its hitting full boost (9psi) at about 4400 RPM and is still running rich so it can probably take 10-12psi. It has a chipped and tuned ECU done by Carl H at black box tuning, however im not sure what turbo the chip was made for. The car does come with uninstalled 444cc GTR injectors, two need caps, other than that the motor ran that they came off of. When installing these you will need to add a resistor pack or resistors, you can do this for 20$ or so and then after tuning and a Z32 MAF it will be good for 375+ horsepower. (Again I could take care of this for you if you want, but the sale price will have to be over a certain amount for it to be worth my time so contact me about this) The car has a big aluminum radiator, and twin electric push fans to keep it cool. There is an adjustable FPR and manual boost controller. The car does have a big front mount intercooler kit and I have done my best to mount the pipes in the most efficient way possible for getting rid of heat. Everything under the hood was dug through, especially wiring in the past few months when we put this bigger turbo on, and the car has been driven less than 100 miles since it was done but it has been great, we worked out a lot of previous bugs from whoever wired the car. It has some sort of upgraded clutch in it but I couldn’t tell you much other than it feels pucked but it grabs great. The car DOES NOT have power steering right now, but I have everything to install it minus one line so once again if the price hits a certain amount I will install it but personally I like how it feels without power steering so thats why it was never done. This car was my daily for a year, very few issues. I changed the oil at tops every 2k miles, and always ran 93. The car had some of random stuff replaced just over a year ago, all the coilpacks and the ignitor for sure, can’t remember what else. It has had the timing belt changed sometime, but I am not sure when, we pulled the cover off to check it out and it still looks perfect. To recap the details in less of a word wall. This car was not drifted to crap and has barely been driven since upgrading the turbo. Basically just to test things and see if it was all working good, go make more adjustments, rinse and repeat then one joy ride with some turbo spooling and tire spinning. I myself have only had the balls to drift it a handful of times cause Its so clean compared to most I didn’t want to trash it. If you have any questions get in contact with me. The car will not pass inspection due to an incomplete exhaust. The car does pull to the left, but it does run and drive. It was an amazing car prior to the work recently done, so its sure to be better after these last few things are taken care of. If anything is not pictured that you would like to see please ask and I will do what I can
