!!!! NO RESERVE !!!! 2001 TDI Beetle - NO RUST - 149k miles - 5 spd manual - beautiful leather seats (always covered) - power sunroof - full timing belt, tensioner, waterpump service - new 120 amp alternator - new front brakes - consistent 45mpg on highway - everything works...!!!NO WARNING LIGHTS ON DASH!!! !!!PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!!! Selling car for my girlfriend. She has owned it for nearly 3 years now and has all receipts for maintenance and repair. We are TDI lovers and searched long and hard to find a rust free, low mileage 99-03 TDI to keep forever. This car has the desireable 99-03 "ALH" series powerplant known for its simplicity and longevity (do your homework if you're not familiar, don't make the mistake of buying a newer 04 and up "PD" car). Opportunity came up to buy a one-owner TDI wagon that we could not pass up, and we cannot justify keeping both. This is a daily driver that has its dents and dings all the way around and a couple spots of faded clearcoat on right front fender and right rear fender that didn't really show up in pics. Honestly, it looks better in pictures than in person (I would call it a "20 footer", looks great standing 20 feet away..lol). Car could probably stand some new front shocks as well. Also, leather door panel inserts are coming unglued like every other beetle and instrument bezel and AC surround have typical beetle scratches (having said that, leather seats are perfect and carpet is nice and clean). Driven daily, so mileage will go up.
