2001 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible V6 Red 2 Door With 141,000 miles, this Camaro runs and drives very well. I have just had Midas in Cleveland TN install a new catalytic converter. It made the car drive like a new one, as the old converter was clogged up. The paint job is pretty good, but imperfections do exist. It has some small clear coat delaminations on the back bumper, and a 12 inch scratch on the passenger door that I have used touch-up paint on. I have installed new seat covers on the front and back seats. The convertible top is in very good shape with no rips or tears or frayed areas. The radio/CD player works good, and the electric mirrors and windows all work as well. Included is a remote FOB that works nicely. The convertible top goes up and down nicely. I have discovered a small leak in the on/off twist knob on the convertible top hydraulic system in the trunk. I have to add a small amount of oil to the reservoir in the trunk every month . The car has a Flowmaster muffler installed and although it is just a V6, it has a nice rumble to it. I have a recent CarFax on the vehicle. The vehicle has been badged as an "SS" , however, it is not. If one does not like the SS badges, they can be removed. Overall, it has been a dependable car that I have enjoyed.
