CHOPPED '56 FORD PICKUP ONE OF A KIND HOTROD TRUCK NICKNAMED "FAT BASTARD HISTORY: I purchased this truck from a guy in new orleans la approx 4 years ago and have had a blast with it since then but now its time for a change...the man i bought from did some really nice work to this truck and i have done quite a bit in the time ive owned it . this truck has never had any rust or rot or any metal patches ever! very solid truck easily one of the best looking trucks on the east coast the chop stance and pinstriping not to mention proven reliability makes this a must have turn key Hot rod that you can daily drive anywhere! BODY: Super solid 56 f100 that has been chopped 4 inches and shortened 4 inches ,very nicely done .truck has steel front fenders and wider fiberglass rear fenders. short fat look lends itself to the nick name fat bastard! recently painted last yr using hot rod fatz black (paint not primer) gloss black grill and wheels(polished lip) custom extreme pinstriping second to none by bman (bmanstriping.com) tailgate is done w the "rock farm hot rods logo"(our "hobby" shop). hood has the very nice tilt hood hinges so it fits great unlike the stock junk hinges on these old fords. the bed is finished in stainless steel (scratched from use)painted black w gas door flap(gas tank mounted nicely under rear bed) running boards are also stainless painted black custom made. DRIVETRAIN: Truck is powered by a healthy small block chevy 350(mileage unknown)small cam edelbrock intake and carb runs great good oil pressure doesnt smoke would guess hp around 275ish. turbo 400 transmission shifts great and bullet proof for 9 inch rear end. cooled with aluminum radiator never gets over 180 degrees reliable great running combo! drive anywhere truck has headers w 2 1/2 exhaust(dumps before rear) sounds great SUSPENSION: front end has 1980 amc pacer front clip(wierd i know but works fantastic!) disc brakes up front with new ball joints front end is tight power steering and brakes! rear end is leaf spring truck sits perfect! the stance is unbelievable on this truck INTERIOR: Custom interior completely installed in feb 2014 seat is out of 90's chevy truck fits great very comfy and lot of leg head room cant fit tall ppl w out issues. new custom black carpet headliner and door kick panels all covered in a sharp black vynil and ostrich skin combo with orange threading. done by el sol interior upholsters in syracuse ny . dash is heavily pinstriped also with 'fat bastard ' done in gold leaf also. gas gauge works but reads backwards(e is full f is empty) speedo not hooked up all other gauges work as should turnsignals taillights and headlights all work. cd player w 2 speakers mounted in kick panels. has one seat belt in passenger side( for my daughters car seat) the only thing this truck needs is a new windshield cut has many cracks was this way when i got it doesnt leak and always garaged, there is no one in my area that does this type of work anymore never really bothered me but would finish truck off nicely! all door glass is good door handles are shaved i have safety wire under doors to open...poppers would be nice if you so chose but this works fine for me the only reason im selling is to get into another car i will not give this truck away! so dont bother low balling and please if you bid intend to buy i dont have time for games any additional info please call don 315-430-5134 truck is located in syracuse ny shipping will be buyers responsibilty and i have sold plenty cars overseas so that is not a problem either clear nys transferable registration (no titles in ny pre1972)
