My daughter has been driving the Jeep for the past year so there has been a number of maintenance items we have addressed to help keep it safe and reliable. We have done a few moderate courses off-road and it has performed wonderfully. It hauls our small trailer with no trouble and our kayaks go great on the top. The Sahara edition includes: Alloy wheelsWaterproof seatsSeatback storageCruise controlFiberglass fenders. (The inferior plastic fenders fade from exposure to sun on the older Jeeps). We have a hard top and aftermarket stereo. Suspension includes a 2” lift kit and oversized tires in good condition. There is a receiver for the trailer hitch on the back and trailer wiring connector. The hard top is the deluxe version with vented sides and rear defrost. Fog lights/running lights on front bumper. Three-stage undercoating/protectant process was completed on the underside and wheel wells. Truck bed coating sprayed as final coat including bumpers. Engine run well but has a knocking sound – may need engine bearing replaced in the future. A/C went out a few months ago – everything under the hood is tight and functions well but it may need interior transfer unit (under dash) for the A/C replaced. Body is in fair condition for a Jeep – nicks and scratches in keeping with the age of the vehicle. The airbag light comes on randomly – our mechanic informs me it is a sensor issue. 113,000 miles.
