This is a 1968 427, 4-spd Corvette T-top project car. Currently it has a good running 350 engine and 4-spd transmission in it. It is a factory 427 big block corvette, possibly a 400 hp tripower car. It has a factory 427 big block radiator, a factory 427 rear sway bar and a factory big block rear end. The car has a very solid frame with only surface rust. The body itself is also pretty good, but the bottom of the doors do have some rot holes. The headlights have been replaced with fixed units, but I have a set of headlight buckets with the actuators that are included with the sale. The engine runs strong, but the carb should be rebuilt or replaced. The calipers and the gas tank are new. The interior of the car is decent. The dash, seats and door panels are all usable, but the carpeting and the rear compartment doors need to be replaced. The transmission and clutch are all good, but it seems to have a noisy wheel bearing in the rear and it needs exhaust. This car runs and drives, but does need a restoration. If you are looking for a cheap C3 corvette this may be the car for you, especially since it is an original 427 car.
