I'm selling my extremely rare and excellent condition 1981 Toyota Diesel 5 speed pickup. It is the long bed Toyota pickup and it has a very good condition aluminum canopy over it. The truck comes factory with a 4 cylinder 2.2l "L" diesel engine that gets around 40 MPG and runs perfect. The glow plugs and glow plug relay work exactly like they should and the engine fires up immediately. It doesn't leak any fluids and doesn't seem to burn any oil. The engine compartment is one of the cleanest I've ever seen on any vehicle, let alone a diesel! The timing belt, water pump, thermostat, and shocks have all been replaced recently. The tires are in very good condition. Everything seems to work on the truck like it should. There isn't any rust on the vehicle that I can see although the tailgate has been touched up by the previous owner. Also, this is the Canadian version of the Toyota Diesel so the speedometer and odometer read in kilometers. The odometer is a 5 digit odometer and reads roughly 58000 kilometers, it may have turned over though.  This is an opportunity to own a very rare, very unique little diesel truck that will hold it's value as long as you take care of it! I honestly don't think you could find a cleaner Toyota Diesel of this vintage anywhere in the country. The truck is also for sale locally and as a result the auction may end early.
