This is a True 1974 BMW R90S. The vin matches the US production line for the first year, and the parts on the bike agree as well. The bike has been sitting for at least 6 years, although it has good compression. All lights do work when connected to a good battery. The rust is very light on a few small patches of the frame, and very light on the cowling. The tank is completely drained The bike is in need of a complete restoration, and is worth it's weight in parts alone. Please feel free to ask questions, and I will do my best to answer them. This was a two owner motorcycle, and I still have the second owner's NJ title to show it. With the intent of getting married this spring, it is a project I should pass on to someone who can truly spend their time rebuilding it from the ground up. I can also supply more photos upon request, and want to be clear that the bike is currently not running. Consider this a barn find. It had about 11k on the odometer then.
