Vehicle Detail
1976 Jeep J10 4x4 Short bed truck, 360 V8. 4 speed transmission. Edelbrock aluminum intake and Edelbrock 600cfm carburetor. Headers with Dual Exhaust. 6 inch lift with pro comp shocks, 37" Goodyear Military tires on 16 x10 aluminum wheels, 8 Lug Dana 60 Axles and Warn locking hubs on front. Power steering with a newly rebuilt Steering box. Power Brakes. New gas tank and sending unit. Auto Meter Gauges. New Paint using factory paint color code. Powder Coated bumpers. New bed liner. Interior: new black carpet, custom seats, new door locks. Brakes and clutch are good. This is not a show truck, it is a driver. There is no rust out on the truck. The floors and rockers are solid. The truck is pretty darn straight. For some reason the truck does not have a speedometer, the person before me made a custom cluster using auto meter gauges and didn’t install a speedo for whatever reason. The speedo cable is still there if you wanted to put a stock cluster back in it. The emergency brake doesn’t work. Inside the bed is pretty clean and straight. The carb loses prime the longer it sits, it will crank awhile if it has been sitting before it will fire. If driven every day it starts fine. The engine is cold blooded and likes to be warmed up before driving but that may be because of the carb. The truck sits in my shop and does not leak any fluids on the floor. The engine has a lot of power. This original Jeep J10 truck is a nice start to a killer 4 wheel drive truck with a lot of recent work done. Clear Washington State Title. On Nov-30-14 at 19:58:31 PST, seller added the following information: Here is what the previous owner told me: The Radiator has been gone thru by a radiator shop, the thermostat and water pump were replaced. There is a Locker in the front axle. The heater core was replaced, The clutch was replaced with a Centerforce performance clutch. He said the motor was rebuilt roughly 20,000 miles ago and was balanced and blue printed, the heads had larger 202 valves installed and were ported and polished and it also has an Edelbrock performer cam in it. I have no proof of any of this other than his word and the parts on the truck.
