Here we have a mechanically almost solid 1974 MG Midget. Currently has a transmission issue which is restricting the clutch from operating. The motor was rebuilt by prior owner who was an engineer and runs like an absolute dream (or did prior to parking her up). Has had a lot done to it and when it was running didn't drop any oil at all from what I recall (yes, it had oil in it!), which is a bit special for an old Brit. The body is solid but the paint is gone. The hood is reasonable and when I had it stored inside was ok. Now it's been outside a little, has shrunk some. Has new interior carpet set and a rebuilt driver seat foam base. tires are all good, no spare, just a rim. I have only owned for just over a year, and have driven maybe a few hundred miles. the tranny went bad when I parked it up, so maybe just a stuck clutch plate, I don't know. Has had a new slave and master installed in the last few months to try to resolve. Vehicle is located in Long Beach, CA. Can be viewed any time prior to auction end. this is a no reserve auction, so you bid to buy. would make a cool winter project if that your thing, or a great parts car as ALL is there from what I can see. Negative or zero feedback bidders will probably be cancelled.
