1965 Pontiac LeMans Convertible No Reserve! Here is a rather complete and fairly original 65 Pontiac LeMans convertible. This car has been off the road since the early 80's and would need a complete and total restoration. OR it would make an excellent parts car for that project that you are working on that needs all the right nuts, bolts, clips and various other pieces. There are a LOT of good pieces on this car. Exterior: Body on this car is rather straight and it appears to have all of the original body panels.Bottoms of the fenders look like they have had previous repair. Door look pretty goodQuarter panels are straight, but have had some sort of repair done to them. Hood, trunk lid both badly rusted ( I will through in a good LeMans hood and trunk to the winning bidder)Front window channel looks goodRear trunk lip is badly rusted (see photos)Frame is also badly rusted. Convertible top frame looks good and all of the mechanical parts (lines, pump, cylinders) are there. Interior: Buckets seats seem pretty decentRear seat is there and somewhat solid, but not perfect.Dash is uncut and original, even the factory AM radio!Padded dash is crackedShag carpet on bottom of door panels (very rare option) Engine:Original 326 turns over just fineHave not tried to get it running. 2 speed auto trans3:23 open rear rear end Overall the car would be a rather ambitious restoration project, however it is a 65 and it is a convertible. There is a lot of potential, but a lot of work needed. That being said. there is a lot more good usable parts on the car. I encourage you to ask questions before buying.
