Vehicle Detail

I'm selling my brother's meticulously maintained, hi-performance, extremely rare stick shift 6 speed twin turbo A6 Quattro in unbelievable condition. After 14 years it still smells brand new inside. Garage kept except this past year. NO RESERVE auction ending Thanksgiving Sunday at 10:45pm Eastern time. He's the original owner and he's babied that car since day one. He's invested over $30k in mods and performance parts in this car. It has never been smoked in and he never let me eat in his car...one of those types of guys...meticulous and fastidious. Please contact me and I'll send you more pictures. This would be a perfect shell car if you're looking to upgrade to a Stage 4 turbo system. PERFORMANCE PARTS AND ADD-ONS Sportec Performance ECU (more power AND better gas mileage....347hp at last dyno test) New high performance super smooth clutch ($3k) Stoptech crossdrilled brakes with new pads and rotors (currently at 8.5mm pad thickness fronts, 8mm rear) 4 new 18" M rims (minor curb rash on 2 rims...see pics) 1 Sportec dual color rim (spare tire) with Michelin Pilot tire 7/32 tread left New tires FRONTS Cooper Zeon RS 3 A 235/40/18 with 7/32 tread left REARS Continental ExtremeContact 235/40/18 with 6/32 tread left New battery (manufactured November/2014) with 3 year warranty New boots front suspension Short throw, super smooth shifter with milled aluminum knob Milltek exhaust High flow catalytic converter (Germany) Performance downpipe H&R Touring coil kit, fully height adjustable AWE stabilization plate underneath transmission Front and rear upgraded sway bars Front spoiler kit Custom clean line front grill Smoke tail lights K40 2004 front and rear radar and laser detector (stealth -- 2 warning LEDs custom installed in instrument cluster) Tinted windows Compustar 2 way paging remote starter with 1 mile range (2 remotes included) and turbo timer K&N filter PhatNoise 30Gb integrated hard-drive audio system Service records Rebuilt Alternator at 50k 100k service performed at 70k miles including new timing belt, water pump, etc $10k of maintenance and replacements invested in June 2013 VEHICLE CONDITION Here's the catch, the driver's side turbo is leaking and there's a fault code with the ABS module. With the arrival of their first child, his wife has pulled the plug on any more investments. So you can pick up a fantastic car at a great no reserve price. There's a small surface scratch above the gas-fill port and a small thumb sized dent in the front passenger door (pictured). The radio has an internal short circuit. Other than that, the car looks and rides fantastic. Even with the leaky turbo, its perfectly drivable (please monitor the oil level) and the engine has a throaty purr like a lion warning to not approach too closely. If there's any way to see it in person, please do so as its really a fantastic car up close, inside and out. PAYMENT AND SHIPPING $500 deposit due within 48 hours of auction close. Customer is responsible for shipping the car within 7 days of auction close. If you want to do escrow, I'm open to that, but not aware of the details. Thanks for looking and happy bidding! On Nov-29-14 at 20:14:38 PST, seller added the following information: FOUR CLARIFICATIONS ADDED 11:14PM EST 11-29-14 1) the auction is actually ending at 10pm PACIFIC time on Sunday, Nov 30th. Disregard the 10:45pm Eastern time comment...that was a mix-up during posting. Ebay does not let you edit a posting, only append to it, so here are the changes below. 2) I forgot to specify that the car needs to be paid for within 7 days of auction close, THEN picked up...so I might have to extend the pick up timeframe by a few days. I'll work with you as long as you're reasonable. I'll release the car to you (or your shipping company) as soon as I have cash in hand, either as an in-person transaction or once your check clears. Please contact me Monday after auction close so that we can discuss the details and logistics. My goal is to minimize the elements of risk for both parties. I could drive the car to a bank and do the transaction there to verify your bills, etc. 3) A few people have inquired about my zero rating and I guess I should have sold a few chachkies prior to the car, but I didn't think about it. Please reach out if you want to speak with me or if you have some other mechanism to get that warm-n-fuzzy with a larger transaction like a car. 4) another person inquired about the accident but my reply didn't seem to post for all to see. Here it is: "valid question...minor fender bender. He was leaving the airport in the snow when another car in the parking lot backed into his left front fender denting it. No frame damage, no contact to the left wheel. Did not affect the drivability of the car in any way...my brother would have never bought out the car at lease end if it had. That's why it's listed as a "minor accident" on the vehicle report. Thanks for asking...I'm sure others might have wondered as well. Happy bidding."
