Up for sale is my mom's 1985 Mercedes-Benz 300SD Turbo Diesel. It's a 5 cylinder 3.0 liter diesel engine with automatic transmission. The car runs good, engine idles smooth and transmission shifts with no hesitation or slipping through all gears. New glow plugs and the diesel starts instantly because of good compression. The car glides down the road and is great on gas. Power locks, windows, sunroof and ABS brakes. The mileage is not actual due to cluster replacement. I would estimate that the car has around 210k miles on it. The tachometer does not work and the ANTILOCK light is lit on the dash. The two rear tires were installed last year and sill have plenty of life left. The battery was also installed last year. The seats were taken out of younger Merc and are in OK condition. The power locks do not work. The body of the car needs some TLC, it has dents here and there and rust in some spots. In the trunk, there is a spot that has rusted through on the drivers side. The starter should be replaced. The radio is aftermarket and missing the front but all speakers work. The A/C and heat work. YouTube videos are available of the car running, driving and starting.
