This vehicle has been in the family with the same owner for 32 years! The exterior features a gorgeous blue metallic shade of paint complimented by a near new convertible top with PPG glass back window and proper Cragar wheels with near new tires. There is a nick in the paint on the passenger side quarter panel and some pitting on the wheels, but all of the work and accessories have been with the car since the 80’s and it still shows well and has a well received character to it. The interior is a standard black interior in excellent condition, manual door locks and windows, and an aftermarket stereo. It is the perfect interior to sit back and enjoy the exhilaration of the original Pony car! The 289 has been rebuilt and features an aluminum intake manifold, 4 bbl. Carb., aluminum valve covers, mild cam, and headers. The engine runs and sounds great. A real treat to listen to the exhaust note with the top down! The 4 speed transmission only adds to the fun and operates perfectly as does the stock suspension and brake systems. This car is a dream to drive and an excellent example of the American Icon that the Ford Mustang has become!
