Here is a rare 05 stone white srt4 . I bought this 4 years ago from a large insurance company in California for my then 16 year old son.......The owner woke one morning to find the car in 8 inches of water parked in his driveway.It had poured the night before.Instead of waiting for it to subside or pushing the car out of the water,he started it...........at the time he had the aftermarket air intake that sits in front of the drivers wheel about 6 inches from the ground.It instantly sucked up water, bent piston #1 rod, and shut down..........Insurance will not get into unknown internal engine repair,they will only authorize an engine replacement or deem it a total lossThe estimate for a new dodge installed complete engine assembly done at dodge was almost 10k.The insurance totaled it.After i bought it I found the owners phone number on a receipt in the glovebox.....I called and spoke to him and attained all this info directly from him.No made up stories or guessing.....I shipped it in and did the entire easy repair.Time consuming ...yes...but easy.I have receipts and pics for everything.I completely disassembled the engine....I replaced the entire number 1 piston and rod as an assembly and replaced all the remaining 3 pistons rings.All new factory dodge parts bought at my dodge dealer.I completely inspected the entire engine piece by piece and at 76k it had just no wear at all.Rod bearing and mains simply appeared and measured as new,there was zero ridge in the bores and all 4 cylinders still showed crosshatch.I installed a gates kit water pump and timing set,arp head bolts and the best gaskets......It fired instantly on first crank and has gone from 76k to 93k without issue.Ive included a photo of the bent rod and the replacement.....when I took it to the NJ state mandatory inspection,the techs thought it sad that this car has to carry a f/s designation on its title for only a mechanical repair.They said the wrecked twisted junk people try to put back on the road is scary.But,it is what it is.No accidents,100% factory paint. Absolutely everything works on this car.Mobil 1 synthetic oil since I've owned it.....Just changed it....Previous owner told me he only used royal purple.He said he had a new stock clutch kit installed at 70k.I don't have proof.She's ready to go anywhere any distance.The interior is just about perfect and appears as new in every way.Never smoked in no stains and factory mats.The previous owner is a very thin slightly built middle aged man.Fitting loosely in those tight bolsters is why the usual seat bolster and seat wear is non existent.My son is 6 foot 4 ,245 and extremely muscular....he still fits easily in these seats.He always keeps this car immaculate.Washes it sometimes 3 times a week,and waxes it as needed.The alignment is dead on and it's smooth as silk at 100mph with no vibration.The suspension is tight. A/c is ice cold and will blow you out of the car,heat is hot.The only negative on the car is it has the infamous 3rd gear down shift grind....If you push in the clutch pedal and wait a few seconds it won't grind downshifting.No grind on upshift...you probably know all about this but if not ...google it. Mobil 1 + royal purple fluids since new.Everything works4 brand new tires with under 300 miles on themnew batterynot the slightest hint of rust anywherecarbon fiber Hood and wing were bought used...and as a result are not perfect,the wing has some fading,the hood was damaged when on a previous car and was epoxied some underneath...has 2 inch crack on drivers side not easily seen in photo.They still look good,not my taste though.Has a slight imperfection here or there as any 10 year old car does...Not new.That said,being a California car and always garaged here,it just has that overall sparkle that northeast cars lose after a year or two.Its never seen snow or salt ever,and only in the rain if caught in it when out. Please no nonsense or games,new ebayers bids and offers will be cancelled,please only serious buyers.Ask all questions and make any inspections prior to bidding or offering.Sold as is.non refundable deposit due at auction close....it will be available for sale till deposit is submitted.I don't try to be honest...I am honest.I hold clear title in my name which has an A designation for actual miles of 76,200 in 2011,and f ,s for previous flood salvage .NJ dmv said then and again today,it Can be registered and titled in all states.Please know your states dmv laws before bidding/buying.Reason for sale is we just bought an 05 srt4 ACR.
