Selling my 1972 240z to raise money to move. I have owned the car for 20 years and I love it, but have not had the funds to restore it. I used it as a daily driver for many years, but really think it needs someone to set it up right. I am the third owner, but the second owner used it for high school auto shop for 6 months. So for the most part it is a two owner vehicle. When I purchased it in 1994 it had 68,480 miles on the odometer. I assume the was 168,480. I have turn the odometer over and it has 43,000 and change currently. I have repainted the car, but it needs a good detail. I also replace the transmission 20,000 ago. I hope the photos show the general condition of the vehicle, but feel free to ask any questions. I am not near a computer during the day so I will try to answer questions as soon as possible. I am also willing to meet the winning bidder within 100 miles of Santa Cruz CA. Any other options must be made by the buyer. On Nov-04-14 at 16:29:50 PST, seller added the following information: I had several people ask about the condition of the hatch area and the floor areas so I just added some photos. You can see that the hole in the drivers side floor is the former location of the drain plug. The back hatch area was patched with some bondo, but not as a final solution. It was just to stop any major damage.
