1973 Land Rover series III Light Weight fully restored Frame Off This is the REAL DEAL. This Land Rover was used in Dessert Storm and Dessert Fox in Iraq. I purchased the vehicle as a military spec vehicle with a hard top. The vehicle went through a three years FRAM OFF RESTORATION/MODIFICATION. Every single thing has been restored and we decided to make it into a SOFT/ HARDTOP safari Land Rover. The hard top is restored and painted to match the car. The car was soda blasted and painted with ICE WHITE AND JET BLACK. Ice means a lot of metal sparkles in it and in the sun it looks like glass in the white paint. Engine, transmission and both gear boxes where gone through and freshened up and rebuilt. The frame is galvanized steel, so there is no rust in the car at all. This car has a conversion steering box to convert it to Left side if you want to do that and would take 5 to 10 hours to complete the task. I spend $60,000 on restoration and that did not include the price of the Truck. This is a ONE OF and is a great usable piece.
