If you have a zero (0) or less feedback and are serious about buying this vehicle , please contact me first before bidding. This is a 1949 Ford Custom Club that I just recently purchased. I do not know much about this vehicle nor its history. I do have a clear title for this vehicle and dates back to 1949. The car was found inside a detached garage and from the condition of the garage, I am guessing that the car must have been sitting for at least 30 years. The title states a 6 cyl , but it actually has a flathead V8. See pictures. I was able to free the motor, but it doesn't rotate all the way. From a quick glance, you can tell that the radiator and generator are missing. I am assuming someone took them and sold them as scrap. Overall the body is pretty straight and most of the trim is still there. It is very solid. One of the pictures only shows one of the rear fender skirts, but in actuality, I found the other one, so both are included with this sale. Most of the glass has been broken, but is flat ( except the rear) so is easily repairable. The car does roll good, so it can be easily be put on a trailer. While cleaning the junk out of the car, I did find the key for the doors, but not the ignition. Please view all the pictures and do not hesitate in asking me questions. I'll try to answer them the best I can. I would require a non refundable deposit of $200 within 24 hours of end of auction using Paypal, with remaining amount in cash due at pickup. I would like for the vehicle to be picked up within two weeks after auction ends. If you require more time please let me know before auction ends. The car is sold as is, with no warranties implied.
