Vehicle Detail
I have a 1966 Mustang Coupe that I have owned for 16 years and was going to build a resto- mod car with either a modular engine or a big block Ford, but you could just as easily put a small block Ford 289, 302, 351W. or 351C in the cross member. I have replaced all of the damaged sheet metal damaged by rust however, the car has never been wrecked. I did the trunk drop offs, rear lower quarter, one floor board, both front inner fender panels and also removed and repaired the outer/inner cowl area that is notorious for rust and leaking water when it rains. All of the sub frames are perfect. I have removed the shock towers and strut rod mounts to be able to install an aftermarket inner coil spring Mustang 2 based front suspension. I never bought the front suspension (and glad that I did not with the dropping prices of them here on eBay) so the front end is on a pair of casters. The casters pictured will not be included. The car was originally a 6 cylinder so it has an integral carrier rear end. The car has been stored inside all of the years that I have owned it. Look at the pictures and you will see how structurally sound the body is because you are seeing it mostly in bare metal. I am going to shoot the bare metal on the car in a DTM epoxy primer before it leaves me. I will throw in everything that goes with the car including a GT rear valence that has been fit to the car butI do not think I have a passenger fender or hood though. You could not replace the sheet metal that I have already done including the cowl for what I am asking for the car. Trades possible, early Bronco parts, 1992-96 F150 parts , 1992-97 F250 , Small Block Ford, parts etc. No Chevrolet, Pontiac, Chrysler, Dodge, GMC, Camaro, Chevelle, Hemi, Dart, parts or cars accepted. Would also make a excellent "donor" shell for that rusted out, beyond economical repaired project car. I will go through some other buildings to gather any and all parts will be included. Please contact me for any questions that you may have prior to bidding. Thanks!! I had planned on installing a factory bench seat in this car, so I am including it as well as all of the other parts pictured.
