Up for grabs here is a 1986 Monte Carlo SS project car. I bought this as part of a lot, ultimately so I could get a few hard to find parts for my car. I have a neighbor that is a circle track racer and has offered to buy this from me, but it's a pretty straight car that's mostly complete, and I think it deserves a better fate than being cut up for a race car. The car is complete minus seats. The floors are rusted as you can see. The engine is a 305, stock, and the trans I believe is a 200R4. The previous owner swears this car has a 3.73 POSI, but I have no idea. He was very familiar with these Monte Carlo SS models, so I would have no reason to doubt. Wheels are IROC wheels with nice matching tires, good tread, no dryrot that I saw. Brakes work, steers fine. I would assume the carb is a little gummed up, I checked the fluids, put in a fresh battery, and with spray start the Monte started right up. The exterior is pretty straight, with some exceptions. The trunk is loaded with parts, including the front and rear window stainless trim. They were removed and replaced/resealed, hence the trim coming off. Most of the interior trim is in there too. Lights work, horn works, etc. There is a clear title with this car, and it is available to be seen in Jackson NJ. If you would like to come, please send your phone number and I will call you.
