Vehicle Detail
1 owner 2002 Audi Allroad 2.7 Turbo automatic Silver Grey 163,000 miles. Yes, fun to drive but the real reason I love this car is that it s an unstoppable monster in the snow especially with Winter tires. This Allroad is equipped with Xenon headlights, Bose Sound, Cold Weather Package. This Allroad is mechanically sound and has been devotedly maintained. Recent items that have been replaced with OEM parts- At 100K miles, I converted the air suspension to aftermarket Arnot Bilstein shocks and coils, so no more expensive air suspension issues and now rides a bit less stiff, like an A6. At 132K upper and lower Strut bushings, new radiator, new timing belt, transmission flush and filter & power steering flush. At 150K- New front and rear brake hoses, Ignition control modules, turbo return line O rings, cam adjuster seals and valve cover gaskets. Last 10K miles both front inner CV joints, inner and outer tie rods, front and rear brake hoses. Major service at 158K including new front brakes and rotors, new spark plugs, AC service, pollen and air filters, 4 wheel alignment, new Goodyear driving tires (will swap with alloy wheels with All Season 9/32 Michelins see photo) Reason I am selling is I bought an 04 Allroad. Exterior is above average as car was garaged most of its life and twice yearly detailing. A couple minor scuffs on the wheels. Very minor chip out of Left rear taillight and one scratch on driver side front hood (can't even see it in photo below). Interior looks lightly used as I have been a single non-smoker. Only one accident from 2 years ago when 17 year old plowed into me at a stoplight (see photo). His mom s new VW Passat wagon was totaled. I only lost a taillight and crease in rear door. You can see the chunk of fender the Allroad bit out of the VW. May be a little bit of Panzer DNA in these cars. Disclaimer- Since 75-80K miles the 'Check Engine' light has been on indicating a fault for the Torque Converter. If I use the Triptonic it sometimes disappears for 300-400 miles. In any case, there has never been any indication of transmission slippage or power transfer issues the past 90K miles.
