Vehicle Detail

Here is an extremely nice 1974 Olds Cutlass S Town Sedan! It is an ORIGINAL UN-RESTORED "SURVIVOR" with only 27,000 ACTUAL MILES! We are the 3rd owners of this amazing garage kept car! It has 90% original paint, has original interior, and is all stock and original under the hood and in the trunk. Even still has the original spare tire! Paint is bright and shiny. Chrome and bright work are also very nice original. Interior is very nice original. This Olds is equipped with the virtually "bullet proof" Olds "Rocket 350" engine with 4bbl carburetor and Turbo-350 automatic transmission. Also has factory A/C, deluxe cloth and vinyl interior, AM radio, and Olds Rally Wheels. We have driven this car quite a bit, including a 750 mile trip last month, with no issues at all. Engine, transmission, and driveline are strong, smooth, and powerful. Car cruises effortlessly at all speeds, is very tight, with no abnormal noises, smoke or fluid consumption. Recent upgrades and maintenance include new radiator, shocks, hoses, belts, and alternator. Tires are good white wall radials. Has been very reliable. If you know vintage Oldsmobiles, hen you know this one at 27,000 miles is barely broken in! These were great cars! Body is also exceptionally nice. Car has not been wrecked, and retains its original body panels and floor pans, etc. Not a rust bucket like many old cars you see! This would be a great inexpensive turn-key way to enter the classic car hobby, would make a great vintage tour car, or would be a great car to enter in the "Original Survivor" class at car shows. You could even use this as good general transportation. This car gets a lot of attention from people and does not have all the complicated computers and electronics that are so expensive to repair when something goes wrong! Anyone can restore a derelict, given enough time and money, but they are only original ONCE! Don't miss this beauty! ABOUT ME: I have been classic car hobbyist, enthusiast, an trader for nearly 40 years! I favor nice original "Survivor" cars from the mid 1950s to about 1980. I keep a "rotating collection" of 6 to 10 such cars. I sometimes sell one to make room for new arrivals. This is the case here. I have been at the same place in North Carolina for over 27 years. Please call me at 704-661-1326 with any questions. Thanks very much! NO RESERVE!!!! NO RESERVE!!!! NO RESERVE!!!! NO RESERVE!!!! NOW FOR THE RULES: IMPORTANT: Please read and understand these rules BEFORE bidding. They are part of the listing terms and contract you are agreeing to when you bid. Please DO NOT bid, then try to change them later. That's not how it works. If you have questions, please ask and get answers BEFORE you bid. If you don't intend to abide by the rules, please look elsewhere. 1. Your bid is a contract! If you are the successful bidder, you are expected to pay! Please have all contingencies handled and your money in place BEFORE you bid! No retractions will be allowed, so be sure BEFORE you bid! 2. A NON-REFUNDABLE $700 partial payment is due within 48 hours of auction's conclusion. This can be by bank wire transfer or cashiers check. Pay Pal is NOT acceptable for this. 3. Balance is due within 7 days of auction's close. This can be by bank wire transfer, cashiers check or cash in person. If you are paying balance upon pickup of car, it must be cash in person. 4. Car and title will not leave here until paid in full with cleared funds. If you are paying with ANY kind of check, it must clear MY bank before car or title will be released. No exceptions! 5. Car is sold strictly as-is at my premises with no guarantee or warranty of any kind. 6. Transportation is the buyer's responsibility. I will try to reasonably help and accommodate you any way I can, but it is still YOUR responsibility. 7. If you cannot pick up car immediately, that is fine, it can be left here for a reasonable period. However, it still must be paid for within the 7 days, and you should secure insurance as I cannot be responsible for loss or damage due to circumstances beyond my control or act of God. 8. If you are an overseas buyer, you must pay by international bank wire transfer in US funds only! Car will not be released until funds are totally cleared in my bank account. You can NOT pay with Pay Pal. 9. Car is advertised locally for sale. If I find a buyer through that venue, I reserve the right to end auction early. Please call me at 704-661-1326 with any further questions about this. Leave message if not in. IMPORTANT: PHONE CALLS ONLY. I DON'T KNOW HOW TO TEXT. I am sorry for all the rules, but it seems that 5% of difficult people spoil it for the 95% who are good. Thanks very much for looking.
