I bought this motorcycle from an older man out on Long Island who used to ride with his son. The motorcycle has just over 18,000 miles on it. I could not have been happier with the condition of the motorcycle when I bought it from him in the summer of 2010. When I bought the motorcycle I was living in Brooklyn where I would keep it stored a Vaxmoto (vaxmoto.com). The community of knowledgeable individuals at this garage assisted with taking this Suzuki to its maximum potential. This motorcycle has been out to the Hamptons from Brooklyn, up to Bear Mountain and my longest ride on her was to Portland, Maine. Several parts were removed from the bike and sandblasted to remove light surface rust. Replaced/Fixed:-Full tune up at MinoelaMoto (Suzuki dealer) - $800 service which included a complete overhaul of the carburetors (new jets, fully cleaned)-Previous owner had a DIY petcock set up which I replaced to stock immediately. It currently has a stock vacuum line.-Gas tank went through a 4 hour cleaning process to remove gunk and surface rust. -Factory tool kit was purchased and fitted-Valves were adjusted at 20,000 miles-Oil change every 1,500 miles-Euro style handle bars to replace the cruiser bars-New Ignition Coils-New Head Gasket-Several minute blots/screws parts replaced because they were either missing or in bad shape.
