1966 Volvo P1800S I acquired this car fairly recently from the previous owner who owned the car since 1994. A brand new incredible custom paint job was just completed last week. The car was painted by a professional with experience painting show cars. Several cars he has worked on have won awards. The original color of the car was red, but has been repainted a gorgeous metallic brilliant blue. The interior was not repainted as nothing is visible once put back together. Unfortunately, I am moving to another State and will be unable to take the car with me and complete it. This car needs very little to complete. I have not driven this car since I purchased it from the previous owner. It drove perfectly at that time. According to the previous owner (who had the car for nearly 20 years), the following was upgraded:Complete front end rebuild, all bushings and steering components replaced, some poly bushings in certain areas, mainly the rear suspension. Complete brake system overhaul. Professionally rebuilt SU carbs. GM one-wire alternator conversion. The car will need a few items including: some interior components such as seats, carpet and some interior panels, rear window as well as a few misc pieces of exterior trim. Also needs a steering column and steering wheel. Mechanically, everything is in good working order. All required parts are available at numerous sources online (including eBay) at reasonable prices. The engine was supposedly rebuilt several years ago. I have no way of confirming this except for what the previous owner disclosed. The engine seems to run very well. I have no idea what the original mileage is on the car. Title is clear and in hand. The pictures do not show the hood and trunk installed. The hood and trunk were painted and will be reinstalled prior to shipping. Buyer to arrange shipping. Please note: The car does not currently run as the electrical has been disconnected and steering column removed. The dash and gauges are included but will need to be reconnected. Car is being sold as is. Deposit of $1000 due within 48 hours of auction ending. Final payment will be due within 3 days unless otherwise agreed to.
