I have for sale my 1955 chevy 1/2 ton shortbed 1st series pickup. It is in pretty much original condition with a GM 270 inline 6, 4 speed manual tranny. All the glass is there and in good condition except for a crack in the small rear window. It is missing some parts, but all the major parts are there to either restore back to original or make it a restomod. I was going to put the S10 frame under it and make it a shop truck, but I have too many projects started and I need to start finishing some of them and this one would be on the back burner for a while. So I am letting this go to a good home! There will be No Reserve on this truck! I have a clean and clear Nevada title in my name. I will say, according to the vin, this truck was one of the first 250 made that year, so an early production model! It has all four original wheels. The grille on the truck has a nice patina to it and is in great condition. There is also a spare grille in the bed of the truck that would need a little metal work to be nice. I will also throw in a few items I picked up for this project. A nice bench seat and a new chrome tilt column shift steering column. Like I said, I was going to make a cool shop truck, so I was just buying items I know would function. The only rust anywhere is on both rear cab corners like usual. Floors are nice! This truck was used on a ranch a looooong time ago. (Last registered in 1984!) That is why there are cutouts in the rear fenders. The old timer made room for a spare on each side. If you know a good metal guy, you can patch them up, the rest of the fenders are in good shape. As you can see from the pics, it would be a great start to a nice ride! I've seen what some of these go for, WITHOUT a title!! This one has a clean title. The engine does not turn over by hand.
