Vehicle Detail

For sale is my 1947 Ford Super Deluxe tudor sedan. This is a solid old car that is mostly all original / unmolested with the exception of the interior and it has dual exhaust. The car still has the flathead V8 engine that runs good and strong and sounds great. It also has the 3 speed transmission that shifts well. The car spent most of it's life in North Carolina since new and I am the forth owner of the car. The body is solid and I find no rust and no bondo in the car and it appears to have been painted several years ago and the paint is still in pretty good shape. I believe it has been garage kept for many years and I have always kept it in the garage since owing it. There are some minor dings in the trim that were there when I bought the car however I have been told that this can be straightened and polished. The interior was replaced at some point with the red interior seen in the photos, which I don't like and my plan was to replace the interior with the gray which would be more like it came with. There are a couple of tears in the front seat that were there when I bought the car. The dash is in good shape and I replaced the dash panels new. The car could use a new headlight wiring harness from firewall out to the headlights as the old one became old and brittle. I have the headlights wired direct to the battery side of the starter solenoid right now and they are good and bright but the car needs the headlight wiring harness. The glass is not broken but due to being old and getting dull, the windshields should be replaced at some point. I have owned the car about a year and spent close to $2,200 on the car. Some of the things I have done are as follows:New ignition coil, points, & condenser, and voltage regulatorNew Bob Drake water pumpsNew front engine mountsNew Thermostats (the car runs about 180 in the summer)Had radiator rodded out and cleanedNew / Rebuilt carburetor from Dennis CarpenterNew oil pan gaskets replacedNew brushes in generator & starterNew Battery & cablesNew headlight switch & dimmer switchReplaced clock and new clock wire and light socketNew trunk mat and sealNew seals for both doors still in package that will go with the carBoth mufflers newHad heater motor rebuilt and restored heater, and many other miscellaneous items The previous owner did the following:Replaced the brake shoes and wheel cylindersReplaced some of the rubber suspension bushingsReplaced the fuel tank Feel free to contact me on my cell: 417-529-8475 - Kevin
