1984 Porsche 944 5 Speed Manual A great entry into Porsche! One of Car and Driver’s Top 10 Cars from 1984. Competed with the Mazda Rx-7 and Toyota Supra MkII. This car features a 150 hp fuel injected 2.5L Inline 4 cylinder engine developed by Porsche. Excellent throttle response, high revving, and gets good fuel economy. Very reliable with 117,000 original miles. There is minor discrepancy on the title that says it has 179,000 miles because the odometer was read incorrectly. If you look at the complete vehicle history report which is available for free, it does show that there was a minor accident in 1986. The car originated in Miami, Florida, where it spent most of it's life, which is why it is rust free. Rear wheel drive. Good suspension setup, slight lowering springs, tight steering and firm direct feel. Good tires. Good brake feel. No rattles. This is an all original survivor that runs and drives good, solid body has couple dents. Interior is nice and clean. Has Porsche floor mats with red lettering, new radio sounds great. Square dash is in tact, no cracks, and good glass. Power windows work, all lights work. Driver's seat has tears, shift boot has tear. Back seats are in excellent condition. Paint has imperfections. Has a silver patina look. The front section of the car has primer covering it. Original Cookie Cutter wheels with Porsche center caps. They are black and silver mismatched color. Pretty Cool car to drive and enjoy. Still gets a lot of attention. Shifts well, clutch is strong. 3rd gear sometime clicks/grinds while going into gear, but it always engages. Good engine, solid transmission, good brakes, good tires. Take this Porsche and have a weekend blast! Always put premium in it. Fresh oil. No rust. Clean title. No Reserve.
