These are getting more rare year after year and what a sight to see when one comes driving your way! I am not an expert in any way about knowing jeeps or any other vehicles. I will do my best to describe the jeep however if you plan on bidding please ask questions and or come and look at it in person. Now that's out of the way here we go! This 1982 Cherokee Chief starts and runs amazingly. Jeep has 126,000 miles and that is low considering how long these will go. Has newer Battery. Newer Tires "off brand" . Tranny was rebuilt about 2 yrs ago and shifts so smooth your wont believe it! Outer body panels look pretty good in my opinion for this year and pictures will show it's condition best. This thing does have rust. Rusted areas include drive side floor, Rust holes in rear cargo area floor, Rusty frame. Most of the gauges work as do the turn signals, light , wipers, heat. Motor is oily however it looks like 30 yrs of build up not a leaky motor " and I left it running for an hour and no drips hit the cement. Headliner is missing. Back window glass is missing otherwise it is pretty much complete. This was also a daily drive until a yr ago. I have driven it a few miles but mostly it has sat in my driveway idling. Seats are in fair to good condition overall. Drivers seat is tore up as to be expected. Great jeep to restore to a daily drive again. There is no way you would be disappointed in how well it runs. Again this is my personal opinion and opinions vary person to person. I will also put up more pictures. PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS IF YOU HAVE THEM.
