1969 MGB GT SEBRING STYLE EXTENSIVE PHOTOS & VIDEO This is a 1969 4-Speed Overdrive MGB GT is Mackay’s Garage company car. Mackay’s Garage is the premier MG Restoration shop in New England. Mackay’s Garage bought this car from a customer, but it had a tired engine. The car had been already transformed into a Sebring-style GT, but it really needed engine work. And of course, to become the company car, it had to come up to the standards of Mackay’s Garage, which consistently turns out show-winning cars. So many upgrades were done to make it totally reliable. The car only has about 500 miles since the engine was rebuilt and all the upgrades completed. This car needs NOTHING to pass inspection and get on the road! All systems are go! As far as the ride experience: This car runs and drives great! The suspension is a relatively stock set up, but it is perfectly tuned. The refurbished shocks, the Minator wheels, and the General tires work really well together! The steering is crisp! The car takes the bumps confidently and without rattles. The shifting is crisp, the clutch is new and grabs perfectly. The overdrive engages properly and smoothly. Here are some of the upgrades done to this car: · Total tear down and hot tank cleaning of all internal & external parts · Crankshaft turned down .010 · Connecting rods reconditioned · Cylinders bored .030 & new pitons & rings installed · New main & rod bearings installed · Camshaft reground & new bearing installed · New oil pump installed · Replaced timing chain and tensioner · Cylinder head rebuilt with new valve guides & hardened seats · New exhaust valves & seals · Rocket shaft rebuilt & installed new lifters · Replaced all freeze plugs · Complete upper & lower “Payen” gaskets · Distributor rebuilt by Jeff @ Advance Distributors · New 13 row oil cooler & stainless steel feed lines · New ring gear installed on flywheel · New water pump, thermostat & all hoses and clamps · Carburetors completely rebuilt including shaft bushings · K&N Air Filters · Polished stainless steel exhaust system including header · External engine components painted with two coats of correct MGB red paint · Refurnished transmission - installed new gaskets and all o-rings · Refurbished overdrive unit with new gaskets and o-rings · Installed new clutch kit – slave cylinder, feed line & clutch master cylinder · Replaced front and rear shocks with rebuilt units from Apple Hydraulics · Rebuilt rear differential install trust washers & gaskets & differential cover · Installed new brake master cylinder · Complete replaced rear brakes - feed lines, shoes, wheel cylinders, etc · Installed new emergency brake cable · Front brake rubber feed lines & new pads · Interior - restored front seats with new foam, webbing & correct seat covers · Repaired all electrical issues · New General tires mounted on Minotaur wheels · Driving & fog lights – dash mounted switch keyed to ignition Terms are $500 PayPal deposit within 72 hours and the balance with bank/certified check within a week.
