Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is a driver quality 1973 MGB with a 4 speed manual transmission ( non-overdrive ). A nice driving car selling at a great low price. Mechanicals: The car runs and drivers out very nicely with no know issues at this time. The car starts right up with no smoke or noises. The car holds very good oil pressure ( 60 / 65 lbs. at warm idle ) and does not over heat. The transmission shift very well up / down thru all the gears with no noises or scraping. The car will reverse up an incline with no issues and does not pop out of gear. The clutch peddle is good as are the brakes. The steering is tight and responsive. The car was just had a tune up, oil changed and new air filters installed. Electrical's: This area looks very solid with no known Lucas "gremlins" that I can find. The head lights work ( high beam and low beam ), wipers work, blower fan works, brake lights work, front and rear directional lights work, front and rear running lights work, dash gauge lights work, dash light dimmer switch works, license plate lights work, reverse lights work, map light / courtesy light works, trunk light works horn works and the radio works. Also, the battery has been recently replaced and a "cut off" switch installed. Gauges: All gauges are correct "Smith" brand and in working order at this time. Interior: The interior is overall very good condition ( see photos ). This year the carpets where replaced and MG logo protective rubber floor mats installed. Exterior: The exterior is in what I call "driver quality" condition and is not a show car ( hence the low sale price ). The car sits evenly and squarely on the ground and has no signs of sagging or the dreaded "MG left leaning" issues. Trunk: Is very solid. The trunk has in it the original jack and wire wheel knock off tool and a set of sun visors. Overseas Bidders: Yes the auction is open to overseas bidders. The auction is open to overseas bidders and if you need to ship overseas try Schumacher Cargo Logistics shipping for fast free quotes ( http://www.schumachercargo.com/ ). Please have funds available at auctions end. Shipping: If you need to have the car shipped to your location here in the states you can get a fast and free online quote from Able Auto Transport at: http://www.ableautotransport.com/ In Closing: Please understand that this is a great running / driving car but should not be considered a show car. Just a simple, inexpensive driver selling to the highest bidder. I know how hard it is to purchase a car online so please ask any and all questions you have prior to bidding or if you can come see and drive the car for yourself ( I really encourage you to do so ) as I want the winning bidder to be satisfied with the car when it arrives. Due to the cars age and having no way to warranty the car I'm selling her "as is" and mileage "exempt" . A $500 non-refundable deposit is due within 48 hours of auctions end ( no exceptions ).
