For sale is my 1997 Dodge Dakota 4x4 pick-up. I have owned this vehicle since 2001, but used it as a back-up and weekend vehicle. When purchased it had 68,000 miles, now it has 117,910. So I only drove it 3850 miles a year. As you can see in the pictures it is black with a charcoal cloth interior. It has a 5.2 liter V-8. The engine runs fine and the transmission works as it should. It is 4 wheel drive.The tires have 4000 miles on them. Unfortunately when the tires were installed a lug nut was stripped and would not come off. The stud had to be drilled out to get the wheel off. It does not affect anything though and you could always install a new stud. It also has a HD Reese hitch with a Trailer Tow Prep package. Keyless remote entry/security. It PASSES emissions! Mechanically it does have a few issues. It starts right away, but occasionally you have to click the key a few times to engage the starter. It ALWAYS engages and starts. This only happens when it is sitting for a long time without use. It has an exhaust leak at the manifold. The rest of the exhaust is decent. It has a new fuel pump from 2013. When installed the metal gas lines fell apart, so hi-pressure flexible lines were used to complete the install. The brakes are in good shape and work, but the power assist should probably be checked. The rear brake lines (from engine compartment to rear brake cylinders) were replaced a few years ago. The front brake lines were also replaced. The rear brake cylinders were also replaced. The body does have a fair bit of rust. Please note the pictures. I zoomed on the rust issues. It does has a nice fiberglass top with a rack as well The interior is very clean, except part of the headliner could use some re-gluing (It is complete and no tears). I do not smoke. The radio does work, but the speaker cones have worn out, so it does not sound good if turned up too loud. The A/C stopped working about 5 years ago; The freon leaks somewhere. Power windows, doors and mirrors all work. The passenger side mirror is cracked. I think that's it. Please email me with any questions.
