1972 Super Beetle Body: Removed all glass & moldings, doors, front compartment cover, engine cover, fenders Strip body & all finders to bare metal Repaired as necessary, primed to paint Interior: Removed all headliner, carpet, interior, and steering system Removed clutch, brake& Throttle cluster Removed all electrical wiring & instruments Paint Shop. Several coats primer to block, three coats of color, four coats of clear coat Wet sand, buff & polish to a mirror finish (66 Ford Mustang Poppy Red) Reassembly: New head liner- new wind shield & one piece door glass-All new glass seals All new door, hood, eng lid seals-All new interior, padded dash, wheel, new instruments, tach, oil Pres &Temp, cyl.Temp.
