This is a 3 day auction with a Buy it Now option...If the opening bid is met IT WILL SELL! As you can probobaly tell by the pics I just picked this vehicle up from auction, it was a GEICO fleet vehicle from the upstate NY area with highway miles . The car was wrapped (since removed) and as a result it is incredibly clean and for the most part devoid of the usual chips, dings, and scratches normally associated with a 5 year old 100K plus mile car. These are all the pics I have until the car arrives later (mid-week) on the car carrier, that's why I'm offering it cheap here now. Once I have it detailed I have to get more for the car. The Carfax is what matters here, oil changes, service records one owner (GEICO) and 1 minor accident with all the Carfax guarantees in place. Both keys (2 OEM sets) and all the manuals are present, looks like the floormats are a little beat up on the drivers side, as a fleet vehicle it's just about the only area that is worn. Can't tell if the rug under is as ugly...if it is I'll have to replace it if no sale here...again raising the price (or you could buy a new floor mat for $13.00 at the carwash). Looks like new set of matching 17" tires on the car also. Apparently I'm doing something right, maybe my cars sell too low or my feedback too positive but now my sales have been targeted by disreputable dealers on eBay, I have been hit with zero history and new account ghost bids for my last 3 auctions and I am now forced to block new eBay ID's that do NOT have PayPal accounts associated with them. Model OverviewThe 2009 Jeep Compass is powered by an economical 172-hp 2.4L 4-cylinder engine and comes with all-wheel drive and a continuously variable transmission (CVT), The Compass offers a little more capability for rough roads and deep snow than some other crossover sport-utility SUVs; it has a ground clearance of 8.5 inches, along with a 21-degree approach angle and 32-degree departure angle--both good for negotiating steep inclines.The rear seats are split 60/40 and fold forward to expand cargo space. What's more, the front passenger seat folds forward to create a table-like surface, or expanded cargo space for long items. Also, the center armrest slides forward three inches for shorter drivers, and it includes a cell phone flip pocket.Side curtain air bags, electronic stability control and anti-lock brakes with brake assist are standard across the line.
