I'am a proud owner of this 1988 Fiero purchased in April of 1989. There was 9569 miles on the odometer at that time. Fiero has performed well over the years. It has recently been used for local transportation. The start up of the engine is unusually quick. The buyer should be aware of items that need possible attention. 1 - Head light doors do not open automatically. Motors run for a full cycle, but the clutch element within the headlight doors need replacement on both units. Rebuild kits are available at rodneydickman.com 262-835-9575. The light doors can be opened manually for night driving. 2 - Heater core leaks and needs replacement. Water lines have been caped off to prevent leaking. 3 - Result of summer heat, the roof lining has come loose. Picture enclosed. 4 - Air conditioning needs a charge of refrigerant. 5 - Right rear brake line sprung a leak, resulting in squeezing off line. As mentioned above, a new line, with upgrade of material,can be purchased at rodneydickman.com. 6 - Pictures of my Fiero indicate it to be in excellent condition. I would recomend purchasing a new car jack. 8 - Tires in good condition, 2 of them replaced recently9 - GM Fiero 88 Service Manual for the buyer.10 -.I've been informed by some Fiero owners, that braking is poor and should be improved. That's a personal consideration by the buyer.On Oct-14-14 at 08:26:24 PDT, seller added the following information: I took the Fiero out yesterday for a new battery on my way home the accelerator pedal did not function engine went to idle. I takes a new cable to make repair. It take a 2 week to get new part and repaired. Car can be repaired or picked up as is .
