This car was last titled in 1976, the last time it was plated on driven on the road was 1981. It's been sitting stored in a garage in Georgia up until 2 years ago when I bought it on ebay. When I got the car it was completely intact but in need of restoration. The first thing I did was weld in a new front suspension pan. although the exterior isn't rusted or rotted the front suspension pan and floor pans did. next I had the calipers rebuilt and replaced the brakes, I also had to put new springs and parts in the pedal assembly. I replaced the master cylinder as well. I did fasten new metal on the floors and covered it with fiberglass resin. I pulled the engine and clean and painted the engine compartment. after reinstalling the engine I put new plugs, points, cap, rotor, and wires on it. I did start it up but it needs carb work. obviously after being started for 30 years you would expect the carbs to go bad. All the rubber seals need to be replaced because they are completely dried and rotted away. I pulled the interior out of it so that i could do the floors. I took the bumpers of and the lighting out of it in preparation of having the body done and painted. I took out the windshield, rear glass and side windows for the same reason. I saved all the parts including the original rubber floor mats. none of the glass is broken although the passenger window glass has scratches in it. The person I bought it from had the car authenticated by Porsche. I do have the Certificate of Authenticity. This is a good honest car that would be perfect for a Porsche anthusiest to restore. I appligize for the photos not representing the whole car, it is part in a rather tight garage along with other stuff that mad it difficult to get good shots. I'd be more than happy to send anyone photos of the car.
