Car runs and drives like a top Motor, Transmission, all work flawlesslyWe ran it through the shop for an inspection, it has brakes that are new all around ( there is a very slight pulse) not bad but I mention all so there are no misunderstandings.I see a new Battery water pump, recent timing belt, recent tune, fresh oil change and decent matching set of Michelin tires.Mechanically I would not be afraid to drive it coast to coast. The body is excellent. It has all of its original paint with a nice shine and lustre. Now there are some very small nicks and surface scratches( it is 22 years old) and one parking lot crease by the right front fender at the front of the molding. It is not as bad as it appears in the pics cause of the shadows, could probably be taken out by a paintless dent removal place as the paint is not disturbed. The body has zero rust holes and no visible advanced rust or rot. The undercarriage is fully heavily undercoated by ziebart. As is the entire body. The engine compartment is not dirty, that is the wax like rustproof on the inner fenders and under the hood.The interior is about the best I have seen in a Volvo. Seats are clean and unworn, the headliner is perfect, rugs are clean with 3 of the factory molded mats.( two fronts and one rear) Non smokers car. There are a couple of small cracks in the plastic map pockets on the door panels but they are all intact and there, most 240's I have seen, they were removed.Options work including cold A/C, windows and locks. The drivers heated seat is not lighting the light and does not seem to work, the passenger one does. The radio works awesome on A/M, sometimes the switch to F/M takes a couple times. I called her and asked her for the code, she told me she only listened to AM news in the car, never tried FM so the tuner is probably just dirty. Again, I mention all so that there are no misunderstandings.The crank back moon roof, sun roof operates flawlesslyNot too many of these Volvos left available. Especially ones cared for like this.
