Up for auction is this 1965 Mustang, Rust Free California Car. It is original, but restored. This little pony was Built on January 27, 1965, in San Jose, California. The engine (6 cylinder) was re-built about 1,500 miles ago. A new clutch and pressure plate were replaced at this time. It has a 2 Barrel "Weber" Carburetor with an electric choke, which gives it that extra power. It's equipped with the original 3 speed transmission, and runs very strong. All of the Interior has been replaced, including the headliner, seat covers, trim, door panels, arm rests, window cranks etc. New Shoulder Harness Seatbelts and comfortable head rests. New Carpet, Steering Wheel, Sun Visors and Floor Mats. The Trunk has a new Trunk Mat and New Tire Cover. There is a brand New AM/FM Radio that fit in the original AM Radio opening. No cuts were made in dash. The Exterior Chrome was also replaced. New Bumpers, Bumper Guards, Grille, Horse in the Corral, Trim Hood Chrome Trim, Tail Lights, Lenses, etc. I was told by previous owner that the paint is 6 years old. As stated in my listing, There are a few road chips, but they have been touched up. The car has No leaks or Drips. It is very clean and straight. All of the gauges and lights are in working order. Also, New Dual Exterior Mirrors. This Mustang is really a pleasure to drive. It would make an excellent daily driver, great on gas, or lots of fun to cruise around in on the weekends.
