Baby on the way so cars, toys & projects must go! There is NO RESERVE on this Camaro, so it WILL have a new owner by the end of this auction! I am NOT interested in any trades whatsoever for the car as my wife & I are expecting, so please don't ask or offer. This is a very solid car throughout but it is in need of a new paint job, primer coat or plasti-dip, etc... I purchased this car in its current condition years back after looking for Camaro's for nearly 2 years. I found that some of the vehicles that had the best paint; had poor undercarriages, significant rust issues, body panel alignment issues, etc... However I found this car to be the opposite. It appears to me with the bubbling paint that it was possibly painted without a thick enough primer coat, proper prep work or possibly with no primer coat at all. But it was very solid, had little rust, great looking undercarriage, seemed to be unmolested and somewhat stock, ran great, great complete interior, drove smooth, panels aligned properly and was in overall great condition especially given its age. It is not a numbers matching car but it would make someone a great driver or with some additional work and paint, a nice general show car. The prior owner was in his late 60's and had stated that he had spent over $8,000 on new rubber, tires, wheels, etc... but for health reasons had run out of funds before he could have it repainted. He had performed a semi-restoration and the prior owner had modeled the vehicle as an SS style clone. I then purchased it with the hopes of finalizing the work to attend local classic car shows, parades, etc... but due to my career change never not had the opportunity to really ever get started. Now with a baby on the way in February, it must go along with some of my other vehicles and toys.
