Don't let the miles fool you. It runs and drives 100%, has a clean Autocheck and is being sold with no reserve. The 1.9L four cylinder turbo charged diesel ehgine purrs along without a miss. The 5 speed manual transmission shifts smoothly with plent of clutch. The brakes, steering and suspension are in good working order with no issues. No exhaust leaks. The exterior is green with flower stickers. We removed one and found that there was sun fading so we left the rest on. There are no dents but the front grill is broken. The windshield has no cracks. The lights and lenses are bright with no cracks. The tires, on factory alloy wheels, have about 25% tread (see pic). The interior is tan carpet and cloth seats. There is a big wear hole in the driver carpet (see pic). The side of the driver seat is also worn (see pic). We had the seats cleaned but I think they need more attention, especially the rear seats. All the power options such as sunroof, side mirrors, cruise control, windows, etc. work as designed. There is a factory Monsoon sound system with cassette. The heat is hot and the AC blows cold. Even though this car is cosmetically challenged, it is mechanically perfect. The interior could use a little TLC. There are absolutely no current mechanical issues and no indication of any impending problems. The new owner will be able to drive home, with confidence, no matter where they live. These 1.9L VW turbo diesels with a manual transmission are known to go 500K miles and more.
