All good things must come to an end and selling the 993. Originally a California car, I am the second owner having purchased from a reseller in Houston 8 years ago. This car has a clean history/no drama, always well maintained and well documented I have priced the 993 below market value because I know some repairs are required to raise the 911's overall condition to excellent. Repairs are not urgent, but will require attention in the foreseeable future. 1) Steering Column slow leak will eventually require rebuild, 2) Sun Roof ceases and requires re-alignment, 3) Brake warning light remains on...this is a false positive as the brakes have been totally rebuilt and perform without issue, 4) Alternator belt warning light..requires sensor replacement, 5) Window switch on drivers side requires replacement, 6) Car was professionally resprayed 2 years ago. Some consider respray a plus, some a negative. Respray was well done, but they are some minor blemishes with most requiring a magnifying glass to see. 7) Minor fender bender several years ago in a parking lot...ironically by the tire technician backing out of the tire bay. Professionally repaired, 8) 2 Rips in drivers seat requires repair, 9) Steering wheel requires new horn pad, Car is 99% original but have numerous upgrades including recently installed Koni Sport shocks. The black rims are plastic-coated and can be easily removed and the Carrera decals are magnetic. New shifter, new Infinity speakers, new Lloyd Premium floor mats, and many others enhancements.
